Title: Screen Capture Software. (question)

Has anyone had any experience with using 'screen capture'
And just to make sure I've got the correct name, its the image as in the film Beowulf.
Where an actor appears like a cartoon.

I think you mean 'motion capture', or 'mo-cap'.

It's the movements of the actor being put onto a 3D model. It's used all the time when animators and special effects people want to make realistically moving animation and computer-generated images.

It's done by covering the actors in 'tracking dots' which the computer picks up and turns them into points which can be put on a computer animation. For example, here's a video of the actors doing motion capture work for Avatar:
